Background:

Granville Island Brewing was the first microbrewery in Canada. It is based in Vancouver, BC but has recently started distributing across Canada.

Objective:

Jive was brought onboard to promote the 25th anniversary of Granville Island Brewing (GIB) in 2009 however, it was love at first sip and they ended up never getting rid of us. Jive has since been responsible for building ongoing media attention and brand awareness for all of Granville Island Brewing’s products across Canada.

Strategy:

Jive implements monthly traditional PR campaigns about Granville Island Brewing products and the brand in general. Jive is also responsible for the day-to-day growth and engagement of their social media channels.

Through a combination of media relations, demographic outreach and experiential PR events Jive has helped grow the GIB brand across Canada and increase their product sales.
